Before the iPad has officially launched, we already heard about the iPad has background process since it would be fast. Yep. The iPad is actually fast, but Apple has decided users can only run one app like the iPhone/iPod Touch.

Now, similar rumor appears again. Source said in the iPhone firmware 4.0, Apple has its own “full-on solution” to make the multi-tasking works. They said the real problems are battery life and performance. It’s not sure how will Apple fix this. I am guessing the future iPhone would be focusing on the multi-tasking. iPhone 3GB (B stands for background processing)?
