    When we will stop placating the truth? “Tell me anything about myself, but just don’t tell me the truth.” I am not condoning the Principal’s actions, but he told the truth and the truth is ugly. “No child left behind” is just an agenda but parents are leaving their children behind because they aren’t willing to invest in the time! It’s work, but they’re worth it!

    Secondly, where is the accountability of the stakeholders’(parents, administrators and teachers)? What other strategies are being implemented by the teachers to get the children on-task with their daily assignments? Parents, you cannot expect the teachers to do it all! Where is your involvement, where is your reinforcement? The television supports virtual learning, but hands-on is a must. There are no short-cuts for learning. Whatever we expect from our children, this is what they will deliver.
